Karma is a daily planner application designed to work entirely offline. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
2. Data We Collect
Karma does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. We have no servers that store your information. All your data is stored exclusively on your own device.
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
- Your daily tasks, recurring tasks, and one-time tasks
- Your goals and events (birthdays, anniversaries)
- Your app settings and preferences
3. Google Drive Backup
Karma offers an optional backup feature that uses your own Google Drive account. This feature is completely optional and only works if you choose to enable it.
When you enable backup:
- The backup file is stored in YOUR Google Drive account, not ours.
- We do not have access to your Google Drive or its contents.
- You can delete the backup file at any time from your Google Drive.
- You can revoke Karma's access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google Account settings.
4. Permissions
Karma may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: To remind you of your tasks, goals, and events.
- Google Drive (Optional): Only if you choose to enable backup.
5. Data Sharing
We do NOT share your data with any third parties. Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing to share. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to your own Google Drive.
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app.
- You can delete your backup file from Google Drive at any time.
- You can revoke Google Drive access from your Google Account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Karma does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
